WHAT STUDENTS SAY
From the very beginning, this course has been a game changer in my English learning journey. I always looked forward to our sessions with Ben — they are engaging, funny, and, most importantly, truly productive. Using authentic C2-level material and exam-style activities, the sessions were designed to bring out the best in each student. It was impossible to finish a session without feeling one step closer to success. Thanks to Ben, I was able to take my English to the next level and gain the confidence I needed to pass my CPE Cambridge exam.

GRAMMAR GURU SESSIONS
The 1-hour Grammar Guru sessions are a new and practical way to explore grammar for real life (and the exam!), based on the Trinity DipTESOL Unit 1 syllabus. They’re nothing like the grammar classes you had at school!
STRUCTURED WEEKLY SELF-STUDY TASKS
Weekly Roadmaps explain what self-study tasks you should be doing during the week, along with optional extra tasks if you have the time. All course material, including a digital copy of the Ready for C2 Proficiency coursebook, is included in your course fee.

YOUR PERSONALISED LEARNING PLAN
At the start of the course, you’ll meet with your teacher to devise a personalised learning plan to help you make the most of your course and target the areas of your English which matter the most to you.
THE COURSE COMMUNITY
Community is at the heart of our course. We use the platform Slack as our course hub when we’re not in the live sessions. You’ll have access to the course material, as well as weekly interactive tasks and group channels.

FLEXIBLE TUTORIALS & FEEDBACK
Keep on track with your goal to master C2 Proficiency with four 1-to-1 tutorials with your teacher during the course. Schedule these whenever you need, to help you stay in control of your progress.
MOCK EXAM PRACTICE
Complete up to four C2 Proficiency mock exams during the course, including simulated speaking exam practice. These are marked using the official assessment scales, showing you exactly how you’re doing on your path to C2 Proficiency.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I’m not a teacher! Can I still sign up for the course?
Of course you can! The course is marketed towards teachers as they often make up the majority of the enrolment. However, participants in the past have included trainee teachers, business people, university students, and even retirees! Anyone willing to participate and be an active part of the community is more than welcome!
Can I really master C2 Proficiency in just six months?
Absolutely. The key is finding a course that is structured around giving you everything you need. You also need to commit to regular study slots during your personal time. The 6-month C2 is designed to give you everything you need for success in the C2 Proficiency.
Do I need a C1 certificate to take the C2 Proficiency?
Although it helps, it’s definitely not necessary (and many have successfully completed the course without any exam experience). There’s no entry requirement for taking the C2 Proficiency. The only thing you’ll gain by having the C1 Advanced is knowledge of how Cambridge exams work.
How much time do I need to commit to the course?
Probably around 4 hours, although there´s no upper limit! Each week there are 2-3 hours of live sessions. The written assignments usually take between 60 minutes, and you have full guidance on extra self study you can complete if you wish. Your teacher will help you create a study plan during the first week of the course.
Is it okay if I miss some of the sessions?
Life does get in the way sometimes, doesn’t it? The live sessions are recorded and available for 30 days in case you can’t attend them, meaning you can always stay up to date with the course.
How will I know if I’m making progress?
You will have four full mock exams during the course to help you track you progress according to the C2 Proficiency exam, in addition to four private tutorials with your teacher. These will help you track your progress and set manageable targets for continuing through the course.
Will I be ready for C2 by the end of the course?
The course is designed to give you everything you need to prepare for the C2 exam, and totals 180 hours of guided study time. On paper this is enough to help you master C2. In practice, learning a language is not an exact science. The mock exams and tutorials are designed to help you take control of your learning and ensure that, as far as possible, you get the most from your time on the course.
I’ve heard that if I fail C2, I still get a C1 certificate. Is that true?
I’m afraid not! The C2 exam is a completely different level to C1, and the certificate reflects this. You should only enrol on the course if your aim is to master C2 Proficiency. If you fail C2, but still get a decent mark, you’ll be awarded a certificate that says you demonstrated ability at C1. This isn’t a C1 certificate, however. If you’re keen to take C1 instead, you should check out the C1 Intensive Course.
How do I sign up?
Use the ‘I’m interested’ button below to reserve a free Discovery Call. This meeting will give you the chance to ask all the questions you need to and decide if the C2 Proficiency in 6 Months is the right course for you. If it’s a “yes”, Ben will share information during the call about how to join the course.
THE SMALL PRINT

- Homework will be assigned every week. You should try to keep up to date with this, although extensions will be given under special circumstances. Private study is an integral part of the course, and you should be able to commit to doing between 1-2 hours per week.
Ever wondered where your fee goes?

Roughly a third of your fee will be visible to you, covering the time we spend together in class. The rest covers my time spent lesson planning and creating/curating materials for your class, along with other vastly dull but necessary parts of running an online business in Spain in 2026. Here’s a rough breakdown of where it all goes.
